Soaking Up the Sun

Tourist season is in full swing here in Sylvan...I've already seen too many chihuahuas, fake tans, and vibrating cars for my liking...and it's only the first Saturday in June! On the upside, it's been beautiful here, and today I went and bought all sorts of flowers to plant in my "plastic garden" ie: various planters on my deck. Fun, fun!

delightful - enjoy it, embrace it - tourists et al! (well maybe don't embrace the tourists... never mind scratch that -DO embrace the tourists then it could be fun for everyone)

Any recommendations on plants even I couldn't kill?

Ya, I know what you mean, it seems like it is busier this year at this time than it was last year.

Ha!! I just took a job at kinosoo so I can see all the people with the fake tan's, beer bellies and so on.... You make it sound like you don't like it but I know you do.

sigh, yes i do joy, i'll admit it...beer bellies...forgot about those, saw a good one today. as for plants tammy, i'd suggest plastic or silk...just stick em in the ground and you won't have to worry about them all summer!

It definately is fun to people watch. But it gets old after a while, I can imagine. I got my very first outside flower today (I don't count the ones from last year because the dog dug them all up), and I'm very excited about trying to coax it to live even though it's in my possesion - and find a way to protect it from my dog. It's a good thing I do better with people than with plant life. :)
