Broken

1952 Wienermobile

It seems that everything of mine is breaking these days. It began with my car about a week ago (well, it's been broken for a while, they just confirmed it last week). It's not really worth doing the repairs I think so I'm in the market for a new car...how does the weinermobile above look? Next it was my vacuum. It's also been broken for awhile, so I figured I better take it in. I thought it just needed a belt fixed but apparently all sorts of elecrical stuff is going haywire as well, and I was told I should just buy a new one. It's just a stick vac, but I really do need to vacuum, so that's next on my list. My cellphone has been slowly falling to pieces after a mishap at kids club, and now the only thing holding it together is the wire connecting the screen to the keypad. So that got replaced today. Saturday night, my toilet was running and I was trying to jiggle the float to make it stop and ended up snapping the float right off. So until Wed when they come to fix it, I must resort to keeping the water turned off to the toilet, flushing, then turning the water on until the tank is full again. The last straw came today. I was just leaving the mall after picking out my new phone. I was sitting in my car, trying to figure some stuff out on the phone, when the lense fell out of my glasses. Now, my glasses don't have a frame on the bottom, so there was no way for me to pop the lense back in even temporarily. So it was back into the mall, all the way down to Sears Optical. Luckily, she was able to fix them right away and didn't even charge me for it. I was so relieved, since I wouldn't have been able to drive back to Sylvan...I'm so blind without them! Anyway, that has been my last week and a half. I don't even want to think about what's going to go next.

Oh Dags! I hope this weeks goes much better for you. We must talk on the phone soon...it's been too long.

Oh, that just sucks Dags. On the up side you still sound remarkably sane. Well done. I'm thinking of turning in my sanity today and trading down for the cheaper, less responsible title of "insane". Perhaps then people would leave me alone and I could finally get some sleep!
Enjoy your broken week!

Truly sucky. Those are the weeks when it's just not worth getting out of bed!

tara, the only thing that kept me sane was breaking the float off the toilet. the shock of it added to the fact that i was trying to fix a toilet kept me laughing

Ok, I will admit that I did laugh out loud, but I really do feel for you (really really). Sigh, sometimes if you didn't have bad luck, you wouldn't have any luck at all.

they say bad things come in threes...but it seems you've trumped that rule! Let's hope the goodness starts flowing in this week

Why does it always seem that these things pile on top of each other? I hope this weeks goes much more smoothly!
