Can't wait for this weekend to be over!

Never thought I'd ever hear myself say that, but I'm just trying to stick it out until next week...I'm a little tired tonight! Here's how the tail end of my week and my weekend have gone. Wednesday night T was kind enough to take me over to Staples after getting a little shopping done at Costco. I had seen a webcam on sale at Future Shop, but I really don't like shopping there, so went to Staples instead. The cam I wanted was not on sale, so I settled for a cheaper one. Took it home and ended up spending 2 hours trying to get it set up...it shut my computer down 3 or 4 times. So on Thursday after Bible study, I drove back into Red Deer, returned it, gritted my teeth and went to Future Shop. They did have the cam I was looking for, at exactly half the price of Staples, and I was able to get it set up in about 10 minutes. On the downside, I lost my power steering on my car (again) and one of Sunday School teachers resigned because they are moving. To top the day off, I got a major headache just in time for Kid's Club...oh joy! Friday, I went into Red Deer...again... to get some Christmas shopping done for gifts for my volunteers, and then spent the evening at a stamping night and working until 11:30pm. I stayed up waaaay too late last night, dragged myself out of bed this morning, and was at the church by 9:00 am to work on some handouts...because, of course, Word was not working on my computer Friday night. At 11:00 this morning, 13 preteens came over to the church for a training day...which I admit was alot of fun, but I ordered about 3 too many pizzas...dang it! No sooner had the youth left when another group came by the church to decorate for Christmas, and I stayed and helped. So got home tonight around 7...10 hour day...not too bad! So, tonight I now have to plan for tomorrow morning at church...since I am substitute teaching the grade 5's (the teacher just called me Friday morning, so no real time to get another sub), and then in the second service I'll be leading children's church. And then, ladies and gentlemen, at around 1 pm I'll be coming home to crash. Sorry to drone on and on and on...but I just had to get all this craziness out of my system. I always find it funny that most people dread Mondays, but since it is my day off, it is my favourite day of the week...I never have a case of the Mondays! Bring on the beginning of the week...for me, it means rest!

ok, here's something to add to my list of craziness...i slept in this morning! on sunday i usually get up at 7 and go to the church at 8 (sunday school starts at 9:30). i know my alarm was set, because i checked it compulsively about 10 times, but i must have shut it off in my sleep. my phone woke me up at 8:45! i've never been so happy that one of my volunteers was cancelling on me! so i made it there just after 9...and had a very rushed morning...save me! will it ever end?

Ok, now I'm hoping that I DON'T go into labor tomorrow (or in the night tonight!).

I definately can relate. I hope you had a wonderful Monday (mine was ok, but the fact that it's a Family Friday week definately helps)! And you shouldn't apologize for droning on, after all that's what a blog is for, right? :)
