Don't worry, I'm still alive!

I realized today that I really haven't written anything about ME for a week or two now, so I thought I would cure everybody's insatiable appetite for news about me. I guess this IS my blog, so I can write about me as much as I want (boy, that sure sounds narcissistic!). Things are starting to wrap up for the kids programs at the church, and today I plan to crack open the big box I received that's full of summer camp (VBS) stuff. Easter is coming in a week and a half, and I plan to head to Cold Lake for a few days. I'm looking forward to getting away for a bit and visiting family and friends. I still watch Chevy most days, I had him for a whole week a while back! He has a constant need to run through mud and roll in the grass...I always say that he is so gentle he would never hurt a fly, but the other day he started to chase and snap at the flies buzzing around our back yard! On a sad note, he escaped from the yard the other day and got bit by another dog...however, he doesn't seem to have learned any lessons from this. Well, I'm sure my life really is more exciting than how I make it out to be in writing. If you want to see a really sorry life, check this link for the world's dullest blog... http://www.wibsite.com/wiblog/dull/. Also thought I'd leave you with this article http://www.slate.com/id/2137959/ .It is probaby one of the more practical pieces of advice I have read in ages, although I cringed through most of it. Sneeze carefully!

I was wondering if you were going to post something on your blog other than what you have been. Your life is far from boring!! If I don't talk to you before the Easter break, have a good Easter!

Yesterday I clicked on a web link and read posts on a blog. Then I closed the window, walked upsatirs and out the door.

okay... so I'm nowhere near as clever as the dullest blog guy - really I couldn't stop reading them. Genius!! Love it! Love you, welcome back...

Nothing special for Easter, Rick and Patti Love (missionaries) are here this weekend, and Patti has lots of amazing stuff planned for the kids. Mother's Day is the last day of Sunday School, and the kids are going to sing in the service then we're going to have a bit of a party. We have learned not to stress ourselves out and keep things pretty simple at our church (for reasons I won't get into here, for fear of ranting)so we've decided not to do a spring/Easter program again until someone steps up to take something like that on (I will not rant, I will not rant, I feel fine, I feel good, I feel great...)Anyhoo, that's about it for me. Yes, my life is far from dull, but I don't think in a good way...Imagine your favourite soap opera, then put me in the starring role...

I understand you not wanting to rand, but if you did rant, it could be an interesting read.

Please overlook the spelling error in my last post. I am requesting that you update your blog soon, you see, I have become addicted to checking my friends blogs, and T is away, and my other friend went in for surgery. And as we have all already established, your life is far from boring, in fact, it is WAY more exciting than mine. And as your 'pirate name' would so indicate, you are holding back.;0) So do entertain us with your stories!!
