Pack, Unpack, Repack, Unpack

Well, I survived Christmas and New Years, including all the parties, the food, and the travelling. I got home yesterday afternoon after a harrowing drive through Edmonton with no power steering. When you have no power steering fluid, it's all about the wide turns and the muscle power (which, sadly, I'm lacking). The worst part about going on holidays is the unpacking at the end, so my giant suitcase remains perched on my bed. It will probably move from my bed to the floor and back again numerous times over the next couple of days, until I get so fed up that I....drag it into the kitchen. My philosopy is why make the extra effort? Just use what you need as you need it, and eventually the suitcase/cosmetics bag/backpack will empty itself. If my mom is reading this, she is probably cringing right about now, Jamie is shaking her head in disbelief, and Joy is in total agreement. (Don't deny it Joy, I've seen your room...) Happy New Year everyone, and may your wildest resolutions come true!

I would never unpack, I would maybe have to do it six months to a year down the road. Always ready I live to Biblical standards.

Well, I might have to break down and unpack after all. That suitcase just uses up too much floor space!

Kelly! I missed saying goodbye and having one last cuddle (sniff). I'm so sad about that... I'm glad you made it home safley. Hopefully we'll come down in the not too distant future for a bit of a visit.

Update: The suitcase is now unpacked, and the clothes have been put ON TOP of the empty suitcase. It is still sitting in the same place on my floor.
